Z CAM E1
Miniature in size yet big on performance, the Z CAM E1 is an interchangeable camera system that packs the feature-set of a mirrorless camera into a body more akin to an action camera. The E1 features an active Micro Four Thirds lens mount and a 16MP MFT Panasonic CMOS sensor that supports DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) video at 24 fps, UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps, and 1080p video up to 60 fps. The camera can also shoot 16 megapixel stills in JPEG or uncompressed DNG raw formats, with full resolution burst mode shooting up to 15 fps.

Key Features
- 16MP CMOS Sensor
- Micro Four Thirds System
- Records 4K, UHD, and 1080p Video
- JPEG and Raw Photos
In addition to physical buttons and a rear LCD screen, the camera can be remotely controlled over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 4.0 using an iOS or Android mobile device. This lets you take advantage of the small form factor by mounting the E1 in hard-to-reach places, while still able to remotely monitor, trigger, manage content, and even power the camera from its standby mode. The E1 is constructed from a die-cast magnesium alloy body that weighs only 8.9 oz, including the 2000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. Its low weight and small footprint make it a compact 4K camera you can carry with you at all times, as well as being well-suited to capturing action-camera-type POV footage and mounting on UAVs for aerial photography.
Note:
This Gift Box version of the camera provides you with the same exact camera and accessories but in a white outer packaging instead of black.
16 Megapixel CMOS Sensor
A 16MP MFT Panasonic CMOS sensor pairs with an Ambarella chipset to deliver the image quality and image processing required to support 4K video and 16MP raw images in a variety of lighting conditions. The camera uses advanced 3D noise filters (three selectable levels) for cleaner images in low-light environments, and offers a maximum sensitivity of ISO 25,600 in auto mode.
4K Video Recording
The E1 supports 4K (4096 x 2160) and UHD (3840 x 2160) video recording at 60 Mbps in the MOV format using H.264 compression. 4K video is recorded at 24 fps and UHD video can be recorded at 24 or 30 fps. Full HD 1080p video up to 60 fps is also supported, as well as 720p up to 240 fps for slow-motion playback. 4K video mode uses a slight crop of the sensor to provide full pixel readout for higher quality imagery with reduced moiré and aliasing. The 1080p video modes also use this crop, delivering downscaled images rather than using line skipping or pixel binning.
16 Megapixel Still Photos
More than just a 4K video camera, the E1 takes up to 16 megapixel still images in JPEG or raw DNG formats. Burst shooting modes also allow you to pair high continuous shooting rates with continuous AF. Full resolution 16 megapixel JPEG photos can be taken in bursts up to 15 fps. Additionally, interval recording is available for creating time-lapse videos.
Active MFT Lens Mount
Equipped with an active MFT lens mount, the E1 is able to take advantage of autofocus and image stabilization supported by select Olympus and Panasonic lenses. The mount also supports a growing range of manual focus MFT lenses, as well as being adaptable to virtually any modern or vintage lens using optional third-party adapters.
Continuous Autofocus
The E1’s advanced focusing technology allows for continuous autofocus in both photos and video. Different sensitivity settings are available to adapt to different scenes and help you keep track of your subjects while filming. When focusing manually, the camera features an automatic, on-screen zoom preview to help you achieve optimum focus on your subject.
Built-In Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Utilizing built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, the E1 can be paired with iOS and Android mobile devices running the E1 App. Using the app, users can control, monitor, remotely trigger, and manage content. The E1 can also be powered on from the app when the camera is in Bluetooth standby mode, meaning you can fully operate the camera without needing to make physical contact with it. This is great when the camera is mounted in hard-to-reach locations. The camera can remain in standby mode for up to two weeks.
Body Design
The E1 is a versatile, compact, interchangeable lens 4K camera. Weighing just under 8.9 ounces (without a lens) and measuring only 3 x 2.2″ and 2″ in depth, the camera can literally fit into your pocket and can even be mounted and worn in similar ways as an action camera. The durable die-cast magnesium body is specifically designed to dissipate the heat the image processor produces when recording 4K video.
