The system will also hold an SW150 System Adapter that will allow you to attach the SW150 to any standard Lee adapter ring. This added feature will allow you to use the SW150 on just about any lens you can think of and making the SW150 a filter system worth keeping in your gear bag 24/7.

For the landscape/outdoor shooter, the 2-stop Graduated Neutral Density Filter that comes with the system will more than get you in the game. The 2-stop filtration will allow you to blur that rippling water or make that high-flying bird seem to streak through air at super speed.

Neutral Density Filters Have Four Main Uses

To enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with high speed films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, or cars
To decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background
To decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (above ISO 400) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situation
To allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure
