Joby GripTight Overview
Take your smartphone videography to the next level with the Joby GripTight GorillaPod Video. The GripTight GorillaPod Video consists of a Joby GripTight, which allows you to mount your 2.1 to 2.8″ wide smartphone on any tripod with a standard 1/4″-20 screw, and a Joby GorillaPod Video, a tripod with bendable, magnetic legs, a micro-ball video head, and a pan bar that enables you to pan and tilt your smartphone. This allows you to attach your smartphone to signposts, branches, poles, and more via the tripod, enabling you to get the perfect shot.

GorillaPod Video
The Joby GorillaPod Video is a flexible-leg table-top tripod intended for mounting small cameras with video capabilities, such as point & shoots that capture video files and shoot & share camcorders. The unique GorillaPod design allows you to bend and twist the legs for a customized camera angle on any sort of surface.
With a micro-ball video head, the tripod enables you to pan 360° and tilt up to 135° in one direction. (There’s even a tiny pan bar for smooth operation.) The head’s universal 1/4″-20 screw will attach to any small camera or camcorder with a corresponding thread. A quick-release plate is included so that without having to fiddle with the screw, you can easily switch from GorillaPod-mounted shots to unencumbered handheld shooting.
The GorillaPod Video’s wrappable legs feature super-strong magnetic feet composed of the element neodymium. This opens up a variety of creative options, from fridge-mounting the video camera to achieving bird’s-eye-view shots from high up on a telephone pole.
The tripod and head are constructed of machined aluminum, high-quality ABS plastic, and corrosion-resistant steel. The durable TPE rubber grip rings ensure a high degree of friction when the legs are wrapped around an object – as well as a solid grip for when you’re shooting handheld with the camera attached to the GorillaPod Video.

GripTight Mount for Smartphones
The black GripTight Mount from Joby allows you to mount your smartphone to 1/4″-20 thread tripods, letting you capture photos and video using its built-in camera. With your smartphone securely mounted, you can also watch videos or other media hands-free. The GripTight Mount fits smartphones 2.1 to 2.8″ wide, with or without a case attached. The mount has internal steel springs that allow it to expand to the size of your device. Rubber grip pads secure it in place.
The mount’s small size and foldable design allows you to slip it into a pocket or bag easily for on-the-go shooting. It also has a small hole for a lanyard, making it a snap to keep track of it. The mount connects to all GorillaPods and most other tripods.
