- ULCA – Ultra Low Chromatic Aberration Coating Technology: Comapred to traditional coatings with green or blue films, the film of the ULCA technology is close to colourless, with few colours cast to none with super low reflectance. This means that the influence made by the filter coating can be decreasted to the lowest possible, resulting in super high transmittance. The original light can be transmitted to the lens under any light rays.
- WMC – waterproof multi coating using the latest ultra-smooth surface to enhance water and oil repellency. The coating also has super hard anti-scratch properties which will not have any influence on imaging quality. Even if the filter is soiled with water or oil, the stains can be removed easily.
- Edge coated black optically flat glass
This Benro SD CPL-HD ULCA WMC is latest CPL series of filters. This super thin optical lens filter at just 1.6mm thich assures clear and damage free images by HF optical manufacturing technology. 12 layers AR multi-coating increases transmittance and decreases the dazzle light by reflection between the lens and the filter. Its black coated edge decreases reflection at the filter edge. High quaity polarised film increase image effect and imrpves image colour saturation. High quality aluminium is adopted for the filter adapter ring with anodisation antireflection finish, which absorbs reflective light effectively. The super slim frame at just 3.0mm wide eliminated image dark corners and vignetting.
